Umwa
Umwa (auch: Ooma, Uma) ist ein Ort im südlichen Teil des pazifischen Archipels der Gilbertinseln nahe dem Äquator im Staat Kiribati.[1] In den neuesten Aufstellungen wird der Ort nicht mehr separat aufgeführt.

Geographie
Der Ort liegt am Südzipfel der Insel Banaba, in der Nähe des Sydney Point. Historisch befand sich dort auch das European Settlement mit dem Barge and Boat Harbour, dem British Phosphate Commission Club House und dem BPC Commissioners House.[2]
