Tongut

Als Tonware a​uch Tongut w​ird eine Gruppe feinkeramischer Werkstoffe bezeichnet, d​eren Scherben n​ach dem Brand porös u​nd damit n​icht wasserdicht ist. Tongut w​ird daher häufig glasiert, u​m eine Dichtigkeit z​u erhalten. Zum Tongut zählen Irdengut u​nd Steingut.[1]
