Geschichte
Das Unternehmen wurde 1962 von Angelo Moratti gegründet und ist vorwiegend in Italien und Spanien tätig. Massimo Moratti, Sohn des Firmengründers, und Gian Marco Moratti halten je 25,011 % der Anteile, Norges Bank hält 3,19 %.[3] Die Aktien der Saras S.p.A. sind an der Borsa Italiana im FTSE Italia Mid Cap notiert.
Die Unternehmensgruppe beschäftigt rund 2.000 Mitarbeiter und erzielte 2017 einen Umsatz von 7,69 Milliarden Euro.[2]
