Der Rivière Quikirtaluup Kuunga entspringt westlich des Sees Lac Chavigny. Der Fluss fließt in westlicher Richtung durch den Kanadischen Schild und mündet nach 97 km etwa 70 km südöstlich von Inukjuak in die Hudson Bay. Das Einzugsgebiet umfasst 2370 km².
