Patrick Tilley
Patrick Tilley (* 4. Juli 1928; † 25. Mai 2020[1]) war ein britischer Autor, Grafikdesigner und Drehbuchautor.
Lebenslauf
Nach seinem Kunststudium an der Universität von Durham ging er 1955 nach London, wo er zu einem erfolgreichen Grafikdesigner avancierte. Ab 1959 war er nebenberuflich als Schriftsteller tätig. Im Jahre 1968 gab er seinen Beruf als Designer auf, um fortan als Drehbuchautor tätig zu sein.[2]
Sein erstes Buch Fade-Out wurde 1975 veröffentlicht und handelt von der Arbeitsweise von Regierung und Militär im Stil eines Techno-Thrillers.[3] Es wurde in verschiedene Sprachen übersetzt.
