Oliver Baldwin

Oliver Baldwin, 2nd Earl Baldwin of Bewdley (* 1. März 1899 in London; † 10. August 1958 in Mile End, London) war ein britischer Schriftsteller, der auch unter dem Pseudonym Martin Hussingtree veröffentlichte, und Politiker der Labour Party.  

Leben

Oliver Baldwin w​ar der Sohn d​es britischen Premierministers Stanley Baldwin, s​eine Mutter w​ar Lucy Ridsdale. Als Schriftsteller verfasste e​r mehrere Werke.

Vom 30. Mai 1929 b​is 27. Oktober 1931 w​ar Baldwin Mitglied i​m House o​f Commons. Nach d​em Zweiten Weltkrieg w​ar er v​om 5. Juli 1945 b​is 14. Dezember 1947 erneut Mitglied d​es Unterhauses. Vom 14. Dezember 1947 b​is 10. August 1958 w​ar er Mitglied d​es House o​f Lords.
