Neurosekretion

Unter Neurosekretion versteht man die Fähigkeit bestimmter Neurone, Hormone zu synthetisieren und ins Blut zu sezernieren. Die Neurosekretion bewirkt folglich eine Umwandlung neuronaler Afferenzen in endokrine Botschaften.
