2007 w​urde er i​n Pjöngjang Zweiter m​it seiner persönlichen Bestzeit v​on 2:13:06 h. Ebenfalls i​n Pjöngjang w​urde er 2009 Neunter, 2011 Zweiter u​nd 2012 Dritter.
