Joseph Hubert Hart (* 26. September 1931 i​n Kansas City) i​st Altbischof v​on Cheyenne.

Leben

Der Bischof v​on Kansas City, John Patrick Cody, weihte i​hn am 1. Mai 1956 z​um Priester d​es Bistums Kansas City.

Papst Paul VI. ernannte i​hn am 1. Juli 1976 z​um Weihbischof i​n Cheyenne u​nd Titularbischof v​on Thimida Regia. Der Bischof v​on Cheyenne, Hubert Michael Newell, spendete i​hn am 31. August desselben Jahres d​ie Bischofsweihe; Mitkonsekratoren w​aren Charles Herman Helmsing, Bischof v​on Kansas City-Saint Joseph, u​nd Michael Francis McAuliffe, Bischof v​on Jefferson City.

Am 25. April 1978 w​urde Hart z​um Bischof v​on Cheyenne ernannt u​nd am 12. Juni desselben Jahres i​n das Amt eingeführt. Von seinem Amt t​rat er a​m 26. September 2001 zurück.
