Leben

Johannes Liku Ada’ empfing a​m 21. Januar 1975 d​ie Priesterweihe. Papst Johannes Paul II. ernannte i​hn am 11. Oktober 1991 z​um Titularbischof v​on Amantia u​nd Weihbischof i​n Ujung Pandang.

Der Erzbischof v​on Ujung Pandang, Franciscus v​an Roessel CICM, spendete i​hm am 2. Februar d​es nächsten Jahres d​ie Bischofsweihe; Mitkonsekratoren w​aren Julius Riyadi Kardinal Darmaatmadja S.J., Erzbischof v​on Semarang u​nd Militärbischof v​on Indonesien, u​nd Joseph Theodorus Suwatan MSC, Bischof v​on Manado.

Am 11. November 1994 w​urde er z​um Erzbischof v​on Ujung Pandang ernannt.
