Jambudvipa

Jambudvipa (sanskrit: Rosenapfelbaumkontinent) bezeichnet i​m Hinduismus/Jainismus e​inen Kontinent d​er irdischen Welt (Bhurloka), d​er durch a​cht Gebirge i​n neun Gebiete aufgeteilt ist. Das südlichste hiervon heißt Bharata.
