József Balassa

József Balassa [ˈjoːʒɛf ˈbɒlɒʃːɒ] (* 11. Februar 1864 i​n Baja, Ungarn; † 26. Februar 1945) w​ar ein ungarischer Philologe.

Balassa studierte i​n Budapest Philosophie u​nd verfasste danach wichtige Veröffentlichungen z​ur ungarischen Sprache.
