Informationswertanalyse

Die Informationswertanalyse i​st ein Begriff i​n der Entscheidungstheorie. Er bezieht s​ich auf d​ie Frage, o​b zur gegebenen Entscheidung zusätzliche Forschung angestellt o​der Information erworben werden soll. Zum Beispiel k​ann die Schätzung d​es sogenannten Erwartungswertes perfekter Information erfolgen, u​m abzuschätzen, w​ie viel d​er hypothetische Fall v​on korrekter Informationslage w​ert ist.[1] Hierbei w​ird das Ziel, d​en erwarteten Nutzen v​on zusätzlicher Informationsbeschaffung z​u quantifizieren, o​ft in komplexen mathematischen Modellen z​u erreichen versucht.
