Die Glyphen einer Handschriftlichen Antiqua basieren in ihren Grundzügen auf der Antiqua, sind jedoch handschriftlich abgeändert, um ein persönlicheres Aussehen zu erzielen.
Vertreter solcher Schriften sind die Post-Antiqua oder Wiesbaden Swing.
