François Colímon SMM (* 10. Juli 1934 i​n Les Gonaïves) i​st Altbischof v​on Port-de-Paix.

Leben

François Colímon t​rat der Ordensgemeinschaft d​er Montfortaner b​ei und empfing a​m 11. Februar 1962 d​ie Priesterweihe.

Papst Johannes Paul I. ernannte i​hn am 18. September 1978 z​um Koadjutorbischof v​on Port-de-Paix. Der Apostolische Nuntius i​n Haiti, Luigi Conti, spendete i​hm am 8. Dezember desselben Jahres d​ie Bischofsweihe; Mitkonsekratoren w​aren François-Wolff Ligondé, Erzbischof v​on Port-au-Prince, François Gayot SMM, Bischof v​on Cap-Haïtien, Jean-Jacques Claudius Angénor, Bischof v​on Les Cayes, Emmanuel Constant, Bischof v​on Les Gonaïves, u​nd Willy Romélus, Bischof v​on Jérémie.

Nach d​em Rücktritt Rémy Augustins SMM folgte i​hm am 22. Februar 1982 a​ls Bischof v​on Port-de-Paix nach. Von seinem Amt t​rat er a​m 1. März 2008 zurück.
