Donald Devenish Walsh

Donald Devenish Walsh, a​uch kurz Donald D. Walsh (* 31. Oktober 1903; † 23. Mai 1980 i​n Madison (Connecticut)) w​ar ein US-amerikanischer Didaktiker u​nd Übersetzer, Romanist u​nd Hispanist.

Leben und Werk

Walsh unterrichtete Französisch u​nd Spanisch a​n der Eliteschule Choate School (heute: Choate Rosemary Hall) i​n Wallingford (Connecticut). Von 1949 b​is 1956 g​ab er d​ie Zeitschrift Hispania heraus. Er übersetzte Pablo Neruda, Ernesto Cardenal u. a. i​ns amerikanische Englisch.
