In die Baureihe 98.63 ordnete die Deutsche Reichsbahn 1949 folgende Lokalbahntenderlokomotiven mit einer Achslast von 13 Tonnen ein:
- 98 6301: Lenz-Typ c (1887) der Gardelegen-Haldensleben-Weferlinger Eisenbahn, Bauart B n2t
- 98 6376–6378: RE Nr. 24 bis 26, Bauart 1'D h2t
