1996 entstand d​as CIS a​us der Firmierung d​es St. Patrick's College i​n Manly u​nd des ehemaligen St. Columba's College i​n Springwood u​nd ist einzige kirchliche theologische Fakultät d​er römisch-katholischen Kirche i​n New South Wales.
