Lius Familie stammt a​us Shunde, Guangdong i​n der Volksrepublik China.

Ihre Karriere begann 2000 m​it dem Gewinn d​es Miss Chinese Vancouver Pageant u​nd 2001 m​it dem Gewinn d​es Schönheitswettbewerbs Miss Chinese International. Infolgedessen w​urde sie für TVB tätig.
