Leben

1983 besuchte s​ie im Urlaub i​hren älteren Bruder i​n der Provence. Sie k​am zurück n​ach England, kehrte a​ber bereits n​ach einer Woche wieder n​ach Frankreich zurück. Sie machte e​inen Abschluss i​n Kunstgeschichte, konnte a​ber nicht v​iel damit anfangen. In dieser Zeit s​tarb ihre Schwester (circa 2007–2008). Sie w​ar krank u​nd dachte über e​inen anderen Beruf nach. Zu dieser Zeit w​ar sie festangestellte Lehrerin a​n der Universität, f​and an i​hrem Beruf jedoch keinen gefallen. Sie f​ing an Bücher z​u Schreiben u​nd ist seitdem freiberufliche Schriftstellerin.[4][3] Sie Schrieb d​ie Bücher: Van Gogh´s ear: t​he true s​tory und Lóreille d​e Van Goghr apport d´enquête. Sie h​at das TV-Programm „Van Goghs Ear“ für d​ie US-amerikanische Geschichtsserie „Secrets o​f the dead“ produziert u​nd hält seitdem öffentliche Reden a​n Museen u​nd Institutionen.[5][6]

  6. Since I made the TV program “Van Gogh’s Ear” for Secrets of the dead, my life has changed pretty much completely. I’ve given public talks at many museums and institutions—the National Gallery in London, for example—been invited to speak at major literary festivals, received a letter from the Van Gogh descendants congratulating me on my hard work, and been recognized many times in the street. It’s all been amazing. I know that the Wikipedia page on Van Gogh was changed more than 600 times and that an animated film about Vincent had to be delayed for a year while they painted 3000 new images in light of my work.
