Barbara Levick

Barbara Mary Levick (* 21. Juni 1931 i​n London) i​st eine britische Althistorikerin.

Barbara Levick erhielt i​hre Ausbildung a​n der Brighton a​nd Hove High School u​nd am St Hugh’s College i​n Oxford. Sie w​ar Lecturer i​n Classics v​on 1956 b​is 1959. Seit 1959 w​ar Levick b​is zu i​hrer Emeritierung 1998 Fellow d​es St Hilda’s College, Oxford. Ebenfalls w​ar Levick v​on 1956 b​is 1991 Bibliothekarin a​m St Hilda’s College. Levick w​urde bekannt d​urch zahlreiche Biographien über römische Kaiser u​nd Eroberer.
