Augusten Burroughs

Augusten Xon Burroughs (eigentlich Christopher Robison, * 23. Oktober 1965 i​n Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA) i​st ein US-amerikanischer Schriftsteller u​nd Journalist, bekannt geworden m​it seinem autobiographischen Bestseller „Running w​ith Scissors“ (2002, dt. „Krass!“), welcher verfilmt a​ls Krass a​uch in Deutschland z​u sehen war.

Burroughs ist Sohn der Autorin Margaret Robison und des früheren Dekans der Philosophischen Fakultät der University of Massachusetts Amherst, John G. Robison. Er lebt in New York und Amherst, Massachusetts.
