Arteria meningea posterior

Die Arteria meningea posterior („hintere Hirnhaut-Arterie“) ist ein Gefäßast der Arteria pharyngea ascendens (Ast der Arteria carotis externa), welcher die Dura mater der hinteren Schädelgrube versorgt. Er erreicht die Schädelhöhle durch das Foramen jugulare. Die Arteria meningea posterior bildet Anastomosen mit der Arteria meningea anterior und der Arteria meningea media.
