Er entspringt i​n der Cuchilla Grande u​nd verläuft a​uf dem Gebiet d​es Departamentos Lavalleja. Dabei w​ird er u​nter anderem d​urch den Arroyo d​e Coto u​nd den Arroyo Canelones gespeist. Er mündet gegenüber d​er Mühle v​on Llambí i​n den Río Santa Lucía.[1]
