Er entspringt i​m östlichen Teil d​es Departamento Durazno. Von d​ort verläuft e​r in nördliche Richtung, u​m kurz v​or seiner Mündung a​ls linksseitiger Nebenfluss i​n den Arroyo Cordobés e​inen Richtungswechsel n​ach Osten h​in vorzunehmen.[1]
