Er entspringt im östlichen Teil des Departamento Durazno. Von dort verläuft er in nördliche Richtung, um kurz vor seiner Mündung als linksseitiger Nebenfluss in den Arroyo Cordobés einen Richtungswechsel nach Osten hin vorzunehmen.[1]
