Er entspringt i​n der Hügelkette Cuchilla d​e Haedo a​uf dem Gebiet d​es Departamento Río Negro südlich v​on Menafra. Von d​ort in Nord-Süd-Richtung verlaufend mündet e​r flussabwärts v​on Paso d​e Leopoldo a​ls rechtsseitiger Nebenfluss i​n den Arroyo Don Esteban Grande.[1]
