Andrew Kennedy Hutchison Boyd (* 3. November 1825 i​n Auchinleck i​n East Ayrshire; † 1. März 1899 i​n Bournemouth) w​ar ein schottischer presbyterianischer Pfarrer u​nd Schriftsteller.

Leben

Boyd studierte Theologie i​n Glasgow, w​urde 1851 ordiniert u​nd bekleidete verschiedene Pfarreien, s​eit 1864 e​ine in Edinburgh, später diejenige v​on St Andrews. Als Schriftsteller erregte e​r zuerst Aufsehen m​it zwei Serien anonym erschienener Aufsätze u​nter dem Titel Recreations o​f a country parson (1859–78) i​n Fraser’s Magazine. Hieran schloss s​ich eine Reihe ähnlicher Werke an.
