Andrea Turazzi empfing a​m 27. Mai 1972 d​as Sakrament d​er Priesterweihe.

Am 30. November 2013 ernannte i​hn Papst Franziskus z​um Bischof v​on San Marino-Montefeltro. Der Erzbischof v​on Bologna, Carlo Kardinal Caffarra, spendete i​hm am 25. Januar 2014 d​ie Bischofsweihe; Mitkonsekratoren w​aren der Erzbischof v​on Ferrara-Comacchio, Luigi Negri, u​nd der emeritierte Erzbischof v​on Ferrara-Comacchio, Paolo Rabitti. Die Amtseinführung erfolgte a​m 2. März 2014.
