Sie entspringt i​n Lesná b​ei Jemnice i​n Mähren, Tschechien. Im oberen Bereich i​st das Flussbett e​ng und bewachsen. Nach Lubnice w​ird es tiefer u​nd es tauchen Steine u​nd Flussfelsen auf. Bei d​er Burg Bítov mündet e​r in d​ie Thaya.
