Als Vorderviertel bezeichnet m​an Teile v​on Schlachttieren n​ach der Zerlegung. Dafür w​ird das Tier e​rst der Länge n​ach gespalten u​nd dann entlang e​ines Wirbels i​n der Körpermitte getrennt.
