Tarawai
Tarawai, auch Tendanye, Tarawa und früher Bertrandinsel genannt, ist eine Insel in der Bismarck-See, gelegen 19 km vor der Nordostküste der Insel Neuguinea in Höhe des Küstenorts Dagua. Etwa 500 m südöstlich liegt die größere Nachbarinsel Walis.
