TFT-Display

TFT-Display steht als Abkürzung für:

Thin-film transistor-Display, Anzeige mit Dünnschichttransistor-Ansteuerung, wurde bis etwa 2010 nur für entsprechend angesteuerte Flüssigkristallanzeigen (LCDs) verwendet.
Thin-film transistor-Display kann aber seither auch ein Flachbildschirm mit Dünnschichttransistor-Ansteuerung von organischen Leuchtdioden sein, oft als AMOLEDs bezeichnet (engl. für Active-Matrix Organic Light Emitting Diodes).

Die Dünnschichttransistor-Ansteuerung von Anzeigen ist die Grundlage von Aktiv-Matrix-Displays.
