Ross Bank

Die im Juni 1988 vom Advisory Committee for Undersea Features (ACUF) bestätigte Benennung erfolgte in Anlehnung an die Benennung der nahegelegenen Ross-Insel. Deren Namensgeber ist der britische Polarforscher James Clark Ross (1800–1862).
