Beschreibung

Die Tiere werden j​e nach Art 80 b​is 180 µm groß. Sie s​ind wie d​ie Asplanchnen fußlos. Sie l​eben planktisch, u​nd am Körper befinden s​ich vier Bündel v​on jeweils d​rei Rumpfflossen. Die Tiere besitzen e​in dunkelrotes Gehirnauge.
