Das Adjektiv partizipativ (vom lateinischen pars, „Teil“ und capere, „fangen“, „fassen“, „nehmen“ usw.) bedeutet „teilnehmend“, „mitwirkend“ oder „durch Beteiligung bestimmt“ und wird z. B. in folgenden Zusammenhängen verwandt:
