Musikgruppe bezeichnet hauptsächlich eine kleine Gruppe gemeinsam musizierender Personen, demnach
- eine Band, siehe Band (Musik)
- eine Combo, siehe Jazz-Combo
- ein Ensemble, siehe Ensemble (Musik)
Im weiteren Sinne des Begriffs sind darunter auch große Gruppen von Musikern zu verstehen, also
- eine Big Band
- ein Chor, siehe Chor (Musik)
- ein Orchester
