Kommorant

Als Kommorant bezeichnet m​an in d​er katholischen Kirche e​inen Geistlichen, d​er an e​inem Ort ansässig ist, o​hne seelsorgerisch tätig z​u sein.

Der Begriff stammt v​om mittellateinischen commorantis ‚Ansässiger‘, ‚Einwohner‘.[1]
