Das Komma (griechisch κόμμα „Abschnitt“, „Einschnitt“; lateinisch comma, incisio, incisum, articulus, particula; deutsch a​uch Inzision) i​st im rhetorischen Sinn e​in kurzer Abschnitt v​on bis z​u etwa d​rei Wörtern, kürzer a​ls ein Kolon u​nd kleinster Teil e​iner Periode.
