Der Khumbi Yul Lha ist der Heilige Berg der Sherpa. Seine Besteigung ist ein absolutes Tabu.
Der Berg liegt oberhalb der Ortschaft Khumjung zwischen den Flusstälern von Bhotekoshi und Dudhkoshi.
