Kalypter

Der Kalypter (Plural: Kalyptere) i​n der antiken Architektur i​st ein länglicher Dachziegel, d​er die Stoßfugen d​er Dachflächen überdeckt u​nd das Eindringen v​on Regenwasser verhindert. Insbesondere w​ird der d​ie Firstfuge deckende Kalypter „Firstkalypter“ genannt.
