Jenny Macklin

Jenny Macklin (* 29. Dezember 1953 i​n Brisbane, Queensland) i​st eine australische Politikerin.

Leben

Nach ihrer Schulzeit studierte Macklin an der Universität Melbourne Wirtschaftswissenschaften. Nach ihrem Studium war sie als Wirtschaftsexpertin tätig. Macklin ist Mitglied der Australian Labor Party. Seit März 1996 ist Macklin Abgeordnete im Australischen Parlament. Seit 2007 ist Macklin als Nachfolgerin von Mal Brough Ministerin im Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs. Macklin lebt in Ivanhoe, Victoria.
