Als Humane Society (en, etwa Gesellschaft für Menschlichkeit) kennt man folgende Organisationen:

Royal Humane Society (RHS, Großbritannien und Nordirland)
Humane Society of the United States (HSUS)

Häufig ist auch eine der verschiedenen Societies for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) gemeint.
