HMS Asia

Vier Schiffe der Royal Navy führten den Namen Asia bzw. HMS Asia, benannt nach dem Kontinent Asien (engl. Asia):

Die erste Asia wurde 1694 als Rumpf erworben und 1701 abgewrackt.
Die zweite Asia war ein 1764 vom Stapel gelaufenes Schiff 3. Klasse, das 1804 abgebrochen wurde.
Die dritte HMS Asia war ein Schiff 3. Klasse mit 74 Kanonen, das 1811 vom Stapel lief. 1819 in Alfred umbenannt und 1828 auf 50 Kanonen reduziert wurde das Schiff 1865 abgebrochen.
Die vierte HMS Asia war ein Schiff 2. Klasse mit 84 Kanonen, das 1824 vom Stapel lief. Seit 1858 als Wachschiff verwendet und 1908 verkauft.
Die fünfte HMS Asia war ein Kanonenboot der britischen Flottille in Kaspischen Meer von 1918 bis 1919.
