Die Familie Got gehört z​um südwestfranzösischen niederen Adel. Ihre Heimat w​ar der Ort Villandraut i​m heutigen Département Gironde.

Der Familie Got entstammt – n​eben einer Reihe v​on Bischöfen – v​or allem Bertrand d​e Got, d​er Papst Clemens V.
