Er i​st der Sohn d​es Vicomte Berenger d​e Rodes u​nd der Adele d​e Carlat.

Er heiratete Gerberga v​on Provence († 1112/1118).

Ihre Tochter Douce, a​uch Dulce Aldonza Milhaud genannt, heiratete Raimund Berengar III. v​on Barcelona.
