Dedikant
Der Dedikant ist eine Person, die im religiösen Zusammenhang eine Opfergabe darbringt. Der Begriff leitet sich vom lateinischen deditio, zu Deutsch Übergabe, ab. In römischer Zeit wurde die Opferhandlung als dedicatio bezeichnet.[1]
