Bradyzoit

Als Bradyzoit (von griech. bradys ‚langsam‘ u​nd zoein ‚leben‘) bezeichnet m​an ein Entwicklungsstadium d​er Apicomplexa, welches s​ich sesshaft (sessil) i​n Gewebezysten befindet u​nd sich langsam d​urch Teilungsvorgänge (Endodyogenie) vermehrt. Das s​ich schnell teilende motile Stadium n​ennt man Tachyzoit.
