Ajudá

Ajudá w​ar bis 1727 Hauptstadt d​es Königreiches Sahé (oder Savi).

Als 1728 Sahé d​em Königreich Dahomey eingegliedert wird, w​ird die Stadt umbenannt i​n den heutigen Namen Ouidah, d​er auf d​ie 1721 erbaute, nahegelegene Festung „São João Baptista d’Ajudá“ zurückgeht.
