Die Zeitschrift wurde 1961 von Franz Seitelberger gegründet, seine Nachfolger als Chefredakteur waren Kurt Jellinger und später Werner Paulus. Im Jahr 2019 übernahm Johannes Attems diese Rolle.[2][3]
